Hayfield is celebrating its fifth anniversary today – 19th May – as it was this date, back in 2016, when the first development site was acquired. During this time, 646 luxury family homes have been delivered or pre-sold.
The five-star housebuilder is preparing to launch its 12th development later this month and has a total of 228 homes in its immediate pipeline. It has a further 617 homes with planning status and over 700 additional plots that are advancing through the planning system.
Mark Booth, Co-founder and Chair of Hayfield said: “I am so delighted with how far Hayfield has come in five years. This business is all about the strength of its people and I could not be any prouder of how all the team has risen to the daily challenge of delivering outstanding, multi award-winning homes. We have progressed so much in the past 12 months in particular, and are as excited about the future as we have ever been.”
Hayfield has contributed over £10m to local sports clubs, schools, charities, and as part of Section 106 and Community Infrastructure Levy Payments. The company has just made a donation to ‘Give.Help.Share’ to cover the cost of 1,500 food bags to help feed families who are suffering from food insecurity. Hayfield is also pledging £25,000 towards the British Asian Trust’s Emergency Appeal to supply oxygen concentrators to hospitals across India.
Andy Morris, Managing Director of Hayfield said: “On any given day we have in excess of 300 subcontractors on site across our seven live developments. We are now exactly a year on from when we re-started production on all sites, after a temporary pause during the first Covid-19 national lockdown. While the nation is still tackling the challenges of the global pandemic, it is pleasing to reflect on how Hayfield supports a much wider eco-system, where many of our contractors and suppliers are an integral part of our extended team.
“Delivering each of our hand-crafted homes relies on so many skilled people and processes coming together. The fine details that run through every inch of the living space and the exterior of a Hayfield home are designed to withstand the test of time. While a number of smaller housebuilders – and larger ones too – try to emulate our style, Hayfield’s quality and individuality stands apart. It is great to take this day to look back on the past five years, while also imagining how much we can achieve before our next milestone anniversary.”
Hayfield will deliver over 300 luxury homes across middle England during 2021, to achieve a turnover figure well in excess of £100m. The company is working in a dynamic way with its supply chain to continually maintain the rate of construction and high-quality standards. Its live development portfolio comprises Hayfield Green in West Oxfordshire; Hayfield Place and Hayfield Gate, which are both within Central Bedfordshire; Hayfield Avenue in Cambridgeshire; Hayfield Wood in Wiltshire; and Hayfield Oaks and the soon to be launched Hayfield Walk, which are both in Buckinghamshire. The next scheme to come on line will be in Bedfordshire.
Hayfield is proactively installing Air Source Heat Pumps, underfloor heating, the smartest electric vehicle fast-charging points available, and ultra-fast broadband into all new and upcoming developments. These features – alongside its current build specification – ensures all new Hayfield homes will exceed the 2022 Future Homes Standard by 100%.
The company became a five-star homebuilder in 2020 and retained the title this year, with 96.4% of its customers reporting they would recommend Hayfield to a friend. To coincide with the recent HBF announcement, market research company In-house Research Ltd also awarded Hayfield an Outstanding Achievement award for customer satisfaction, acknowledging the company’s placing well within the top 10% of housebuilders.
Hayfield won Gold and Bronze accolades at the 2020 WhatHouse? Awards and has also received three Pride in the Job NHBC Awards.
