HAYFIELD STARTS CONSTRUCTION ON EPC A-RATED ADDERBURY DEVELOPMENT

Work has commenced on a £20m development in the Oxfordshire village of Adderbury to build 40 energy-efficient new homes.

Hayfield Manor is located off the highly desirable Berry Hill Road - the finest address in west Adderbury.  The 10-acre site is the housebuilder’s fourth development in the county, following successful schemes in Great Bourton, Southmoor and Stanton Harcourt.

Planning permission was recently secured from Cherwell District Council to deliver a range of two, three, four and five-bedroom homes including 14 affordable properties.

Homes at Hayfield Manor will be fossil-fuel free and feature solar PV panels, air source heat pumps, energy-efficient underfloor heating, increased insulation and electric vehicle charging points, all of which will contribute to significantly lower carbon emissions, energy usage and costs.

Each home will have either designated parking, private drives or garages, with a number of visitor parking spaces also available. Several of five-bedroom homes will benefit from a home office over the double garage.

The scheme includes a large expanse of Public Open Space, including sustainable water drainage and biodiversity enhancements.
